DORVAL VINEYARDS

Integrity through Regenerative Organic Practices
DORVAL is a pioneer in Central California wine growing, employing a unique approach to farming luxury wine grapes in rugged mountainous terrain. Discover the Art of Winemaking at Dorval Estate Winery & Vineyards
Spanning 216 acres of rolling hills, Dorval Estate Winery and Vineyards has thoughtfully planted nearly 20 acres of high-density, organically farmed vineyards with one mission in mind: to craft intensely concentrated wines. Through regenerative farming practices and meticulous pruning and training methods, our vineyards yield wines that are bold, elegant, and truly one-of-a-kind.
Our diverse soils—ranging from rocky to clay—work in harmony to shape our wines into exceptional expressions of place. With three distinct vineyard sites, we carefully harness the power of nature to create wines that captivate and intrigue.
Every aspect of our vineyard selections is the result of years of research and dedication. From varietal and rootstock choices to clone selections, we’ve perfectly aligned each decision to our soils, altitude, and hot climate. The gusty Mono Winds add another layer of natural protection, providing essential airflow that keeps mildew and pests at bay, allowing our vines to thrive without the need for chemicals. The strategic positioning of our vineyards on east-facing slopes maximizes sunlight exposure while minimizing the harsh western sun, ensuring balanced temperatures that promote optimal grape ripening.
At Dorval Estate, we are unwavering in our commitment to sustainability. Our regenerative farming practices and drought-tolerant irrigation systems reflect our dedication to the land, ensuring that every bottle is crafted with the utmost care for the environment. Within the next five years, we plan to expand our vineyards by an additional 25 acres, which will make us fully self-sustainable, further solidifying our commitment to producing high-quality, eco-conscious wines.
Our vision extends beyond our own estate. We aim to play a pivotal role in transforming the Central Valley from a bulk wine region into a premier wine region, showcasing the potential of this unique terroir and elevating the reputation of California wines on the global stage. The result? Wines that are not only big and bold but also refined and sophisticated—wines that embody the perfect balance of nature’s elements and our unwavering pursuit of quality.
Indulge in the exceptional flavors of Dorval Estate Vineyards—where passion, precision, and nature converge to create wines that elevate your tasting experience to new heights.
